Upscale images for old photos

Scans of small prints are low resolution and full of film grain and dust. For families digitising prints and albums, the Photo model at 2× is the starting point. 2× is free (5 images a day) and runs on your device, so nothing uploads.

Tips

  • Scan at 600 DPI when you can, then upscale 2× only if you need more.
  • Raise denoise to 50 to 70 for grainy film.
  • For portraits, keep denoise lower so skin keeps some texture.
